17. I came up with 2 more life quotes

- Having expectations destroys what you think is going to happen. Have nothing, expect nothing, receive nothing. That's life.

I came up with this after I became all cynical and found out I'm allergic to bees. But I did realize this is what I live by and it's a burden. The other thing I realized was that I live by this because I don't know any other way to live. This is the bad thing about being a level 6 in Kohlberg's stages of morality.

- Pain is what motivates us. It drives us in the right direction. It tells us that we're doing something wrong. But it also causes us to crash and burn. It destroys what you build, stomps on the remains and laughs in your face. Pain leads successors to succeed and failures to fail but it is your choice to either be a successor or a failure.

Again this one came to me while I was cynical but I was focusing on the pain in my left foot where the bee got me.

50. I didn't just go 1 day without technology, but 4. I went on a school camp for 3 days and then one day over the weekend. So I'm gonna save those extra 3 days as credit just in case i don't get to go a day without technology in a month.

63/70/71. I took my lovely girlfriend Alayna out to a movie and dinner last Saturday night (well rather she took me out to the movie). We went and saw Julie & Julia where we completed number 63. Kiss for 1 minute. Then after, we went to a small pasta restaurant for dinner where they had great fresh pasta but we debated over who would pay for dinner. If they took card I'd pay and get to cross off 71. Take her out for dinner, if not she would pay and I wouldn't be able to cross it off. Turns out they did take card and Alayna convinced me to cross out 70. Give a random gift for no reason once a month as well.

Completion: Task 86

Ok, today (well technically yesterday now) I successfully completed

task no. 86: Cliche' a movie in real life.

This happened during the annual kite festival while the fireworks were

MENT to be going off. But obviously they didn't. But the moment that

we lived out was the common on the beach by the water hug and kiss

moment. Though it wasn't exactly like the movies; like people (bloody

brothers), our stuff that we later ditched, and the artificial lighting. I

would classify it as a cliche'.

As much fun as it was, movies give unrealistic hopes and almost never

work out, but if I encounter another moment that happens to cliche' a

movie and is better that this, ill post that one as well.

Update

So today was the first of my 1001 days to complete my 101 goals. (It was also my brothers birthday today, happy birthday kyle!) But I did get some progress done on my list;

4. I have downloaded a tutorial guide to help

58. I started to draw a picture of a girl alone in the woods which represents loneliness

66. was increased by 2:50:43 which means I'm now over 2/3 done
96. I have taken the first of 1001 photos

I have also come up with a couple of life quotes for 17 but have lost them in a sea of msn conversations.
